Wow! It's like every one of my favorite animes have decided to make a new season this summer! This is unbelievable. I'm so psyched. First on the list is..

Kyou Kara Maou 3rd Season

There will supposedly be 39 episodes total. It started airing in Japan
on April 3rd, 2008. There are already a few episodes subbed. The
first few were quite jam packed, so I'm anxious for more! Oh! Don't
forget to check out the OVAs, Kyou Kara Maou R, too. ^_^

Alright! More Kiddy Grade! It's set to release sometime this summer.
There'll be some new characters in the mix and hopefully we'll get to
see more of the old characters. (As I was left wondering about most of
them in the first series..)

Slayers REVOLUTION

This was a shocker. How many years has it been since TRY? I thought
my Slayers days were forever to be only sweet (hilarious) memories. We
can expect to see all the characters return with all their original voice
actors and actresses. However, I don't know much more than that! I
believe it is set to release June 2008.

It's a sad day here. My drawing professor died over the weekend. We just had a big critique for midterms and had all went on spring break. When I went to class on Monday, I regret to say I had no idea what black ribbons on the doors meant. (How stupid can I be?) He was a great teacher. I thought so, at least. He was always excited during critiques and he got everybody involved without making us stressed out. Not to mention that he actually gave me the time of day. If it were not for him, I would not be in any galleries at all right now. He managed to give me one more nudge forward. Regretful as it is, even after half a semester, I was not sure of his name all this time. I am very forgetful of names and words. However, faces and feelings never wain. We'll miss you, you funny guy..

Paranoid

Ever have one of those days where everything gives you the creeps? Okay, maybe it's just me. I am one heck of a twitchy person. If my side so much as aches, I come to the conclusion that I must be diseased. Ridiculous? Maybe so. However, I sure do feel a heck of a lot better when I try every remedy known to man for whatever ailment I diagnose myself with.

Anyway, I had to laugh the other day. It seems that for every art class I have, we get a lecture about how long-term exposure to (enter various chemical/material here) can cause serious health ailments when you're an old fart. In short, due to my growing concern for the aging artists of the world, I have gathered up informative and life-saving suggestions to keep you on your feet.

*ahem*

Drawing Majors - Prevent Chalky Lung
1- Wear a Gas Mask
Now you can use that vat of charcoal dust with liberation!

Painting Majors- Prevent Toxic Blood
1- Wear a Hazmat Suit
Go ahead, paint yourself with cobalt blue!

Printmaking Majors- Prevent Acid-Eaten Skin
1- Wear a Plastic-Wrapped Baking Soda Gear
Spash that nitric acid on your belly!

Metals Majors- Prevent Bloody Lacerations, Ect.
1- Wear a Full Body Titanium Ballistic Suit with Face Shield
Now you can hacksaw your fingers all you want!

Animation Majors- Prevent Hand Cramps

Mini Show

Alright!
I made it through the first week of school. This semester seems like it's going to be fun. I managed to complete five pen and ink drawings to submit to a show on campus. They're super tiny! The show is for mini works in any media with a size maximum of six by six by six inches. XD

This is one of the five drawings I did. It's an inch by an inch and a half in real size. Each drawing represents a character from a story. I'm actually pretty thrilled with how they turned out. I'm hoping they make it into the show. ^__^

In other news.. Kyou Kara Maou is coming out with a new season! Yaay! :D There will be a 3rd season coming out in April of 2008. I hope it's good! I just watched three of the five OVA episodes. I'd like to watch the last two, but they aren't subbed yet. ^_^; I can be patient. Really.. >>;

First Art Commission of the Year!

Wow! I actually got an art commission!
I'm really excited about it. I'm actually going to do a watercolor. Oh boy, it's been awhile! I just went out and bought some new brushes tonight. Now I just need some new paper and I'll be set to go. It is somewhat of a dedication to this person's pets. I love drawing animals so this going to be fun. She gave me over sixteen pets to include in the painting! They range from dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a duck. I'm not going to crowd them all though. I think I'm going to have it be a group of three paintings. One large center painting and two "wings" at each side. I really hope I can get the composition to look how I want.

I showed my mom all the photographs and she instantly bugged out. I'm a little anxious to get started on it, but I'm not stressed. It's nice for once. Heh.. that is until I start painting and screw something up. Then I'll be stressed. XD

Well sorta'...
I'll been messing with this thing for a few days to get it up and running. Hey, Christmas is right around the corner and I'm - not so psyched this year. It really sucks, actually. I'm turning into my mother. I just want all the hoopla to be over with. ^__^;;

But the cookies..! yes the cookies will end my depression!! *muncha muncha*
